Welcome to the Recruitment 2009 section of the Panhellenic website! We are excited that you are considering joining a sorority at Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech Panhellenic Council currently has ten sororities- 7 National Panhellenic Chapters and 2 Associate Member chapters.
Formal Recruitment is the process by which women join a National Panhellenic chapter. Formal Recruitment takes place early in the Fall Semester. This year, Formal Recruitment will begin on Friday, August 14th, 2009 with the Recruitment Kick-Off and will end with Bid Day on Wednesday, August 19th. Bid Day is the day that women participating in Recruitment receive an invitation to join a specific sorority.
Associate Member Recruitment is the process by which women join one of the associate member sororities. Alpha Omega Epsilon and Alpha Delta Chi will be holding their Recruitment beginning August 25th.

Sorority Recruitment Orientation and Ice Cream Social!
When: June 24, 2009, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Brittain Recreation Room
Are you a female Tech student?
Are you interested in joining a sorority?
Do you have questions about sororities and sorority life at Tech?
Do you want to know more about the CPC Formal Recruitment Process?
Are you on campus or in Atlanta during the summer?
Do you like ice cream?
If you answered, “Yes” to any of those questions, then join members of the Collegiate Panhellenic Council for an Ice Cream Sundae Social and Information session on June 24! Women from the CPC sororities will answer all your questions about sorority life and the recruitment process in a casual and comfortable setting. All unaffiliated female Tech students are welcome to join us!
The event will be held in the Brittain Recreation Room adjacent to the Brittain Dining Hall. Type “Brittain” into the search bar at www.gtalumni.org/map for more specific directions.
